Jihea Kim

“My art is a gentle conversation between the soul and the natural world.”

Biography

Jihea Kim is a UK-based artist whose work is rooted in a deep connection to nature and storytelling through art. Originally from South Korea and now living in Southampton, she expresses her creative vision primarily through oil and acrylic painting. Her work often blends elements of classical realism with gentle impressionistic touches, capturing the grace of animals, the richness of seasonal harvests, and the quiet strength of natural landscapes.

From an early age, Jihea was drawn to art as a way to express emotion and preserve meaningful moments. Her paintings are known for their peaceful atmosphere, subtle detail, and emotional depth. Each canvas offers an invitation to pause and reconnect with the small wonders of everyday life — whether through the gaze of a rabbit, the bloom of a flower, or the warm tones of twilight.
